We tried to do it for you with great pleasure and put effort into this wooden sculpture, a wooden statue from the ash tree for your complete delight.

Hecate is one of the oldest and most powerful goddesses, dominating in the kingdom of Hades over all ghosts and monsters. She was born as a result of the marriage of the titans of Persia and Asteria. The king of the gods Zeus endowed her with power over the fate of the land and sea, and Uranus endowed them with indestructible power.

In ancient times, Hekate patronized hunting, shepherding, raising horses, guarded children, and young men, and granted victory in competitions, court, and war. Later, with the intensification of the cults of Hermes, Artemis, and Apollo, its influence falls or rather changes.

In the classical era, Hekate became the goddess of the moon, night, and the underworld. More often she was depicted with a torch in her hand. The theory is advanced that the Statue of Liberty is the personification of Hecate. The attributes of the ancient Greek goddess and the most famous girl of the USA are similar: both hold a lit torch and decorate their heads with a crown of rays.

The statues of Hecate were placed at crossroads to guard against evil.

It is believed that Hecate can destroy the ghosts of the night, vampires, and even demons.
