Her father is a giant and a star hero Ivaldi, and her husband is the god of inspiration and eloquence Bragi. Idunn, the personification of spring and eternal youth, according to some mythologists, was never born and therefore will never experience death.
Idunn is one of the goddesses who inhabit Asgard, the heavenly world. Almost always she is depicted in the guise of a young maiden, sometimes graceful and charming, sometimes strong and hard-working. The myths emphasize mainly her beauty and youth, but apart from this, Idunn is very hardworking.
