Twin brother of Belobog, the God of Light, Chernobog was sent by Rod, the Creator God, into the realm of Nava to maintain the cosmic balance — tasked with destroying what no longer belongs in the world of the living. Far from a simple embodiment of evil, he is a necessary force: a guardian of order, a keeper of the boundary between worlds, and in many myths, a protector of people alongside the Gods of Right.
