This hand-carved Abraxas statue is cut from solid ash wood and finished with a protective varnish — a rare and powerful piece for Gnostic altars, esoteric collections, or ritual spaces. Standing 8.1 inches tall with precise detail, it depicts one of the most enigmatic figures in Western mysticism: the supreme cosmological deity of Gnostic tradition, the Head of Heaven and Aeons.

Abraxas (also written Abrasax, from the Greek Ἀβρασάξ) is a Gnostic deity of immense cosmological significance — the supreme ruler of Heaven and all Aeons, said to personify the unity of World Time and Space. The name carries deep numerological weight: the seven Greek letters of Abraxas sum to 365, the number of days in a year, encoding the full cycle of time within the name itself. This teaching originates with Basilides of Alexandria, a 2nd-century Gnostic philosopher who held that Abraxas governed 365 heavens, each corresponding to a day of the year. In Jungian psychology, Abraxas later became a symbol of the reconciliation of opposites — the god beyond god and devil, encompassing all dualities. For practitioners working with Gnostic cosmology, esoteric ritual, or shadow integration, this statue makes a commanding altar focal point.
