Gullinbursti — the Golden Bristled Boar — is one of the most radiant creatures in all of Norse mythology. Crafted by the master dwarves Brokkr and Eitri during their legendary wager with Loki, this sacred boar belongs to Freyr, god of fertility, prosperity, and sunlight. His golden bristles shine so brightly that they illuminate the darkest night as if it were day, and he runs faster than any horse across sky, sea, or earth.
This hand-carved Gullinbursti statue brings that mythic luminosity into your home — carved from ecological ash wood and finished in warm varnish, with every bristle rendered by hand. Available in brown or golden brown, each piece is a unique original.
