We tried to do it for you with great pleasure and put effort into this wooden sculpture, a wooden statue from the ash tree for your complete delight.

In ancient Egypt, Nephthys was portrayed as a young girl, on whose head a hieroglyph denoting her name was fixed in the form of a crown. Among the gods who ruled over the minds and souls of the population of Ancient Egypt, Nephthys stands out.
This is perhaps one of the most mysterious personalities among the celestials. Her essence is elusive since she seems to be the embodiment of good and rebirth, then - death and nothingness. Nephthys, according to myths, is the youngest of the children of Geb and Nut. In total, Geb and Nut (Earth and Heaven) had four heirs: the sons of Osiris and Seth, the daughters of Isis and Nephthys.

A glorious family united, in general, everything that is in the world of good and evil: Osiris is an almighty and good god, his sister (and wife) Isis; Seth is a small evil dwarf who always envied his brother and built various intrigues against him. Seth's wife was Nephthys. In some sources, you can find descriptions of Nephthys, which help the souls of the dead to cross the dark waters of the underground river that separates the world of the living and from the world of the dead. On the one hand, Nephthys accompanied those who passed away, on the other, she also received newborns. She wrote texts for the reading of the dead (she was called the Lady of the Scrolls), and was the author of sorrowful songs.

On the other hand, this goddess was entrusted to catch the first breath of a child, whose soul came to our sinful land. Both daughters of Nut and Geb were tightly tied together - together they searched for the body of Osiris. When Seth cut him into pieces and scattered him around the world, they mourned Osiris together and together rejoiced at his resurrection. Life and death are inseparable - it is this sacred meaning that conceals the image of Nephthys, the "dark" relative of the patroness of the living Isis, therefore, creating it, the Egyptians did not see any contradiction in it, only mystery.
