Phoenix is a mythological bird that has the ability to burn itself and then be reborn from the ashes. The mythical phoenix bird was a symbol of the cult of the Sun, personifying eternal youth, resurrection from the dead, longevity, and purity. Most often, it was depicted as an eagle with shiny gold-purple feathers and a melodious voice. Phoenix from Greek can be translated as "crimson, purple."

Moreover, there was a bird only in a single copy. Anticipating the approach of death, this fabulous bird built a nest for itself on a palm tree from the branches of aromatic plants, put incense there, and set it on fire, burning in the flames of a fire. Then a new phoenix appeared from the ashes, which laid the ashes of the "father" on the altar of the Sun.

This fabulous creature, associated with the solar cult, appeared in Egypt, where it came from Indian myths. Apparently, the phoenix was familiar to the priests of Heliopolis, and the bird itself was a symbol of the passage of the Sun across the sky. It showed the flood of the Nile, sunrise and sunset, the change of eras, and immortality. The Phoenix turned into the herald of eternity, and at the same time became the guide of the souls of the dead to the afterlife.
