In Hindu mythology, Kali is interpreted as the goddess of death, a punishing and evil pursuer of the demon Mashiha and his minions. She "is in charge" of everything related to wars, natural disasters, and violent death. At the same time, Kali is revered as the creator and giver of life, and death is just a reverse and integral part of earthly existence. Kali is called the punishing, Mother of all worlds, Black earthly mother, Carrier of skulls, and many-sided. The latter definition is caused by another interpretation of the image of the goddess. It is believed that the formidable goddess of death Kali is the dark incarnation of Parvati, the beautiful wife of the supreme god Shiva. She is also the embodiment of the rage of this god. The many-faced Kali has tremendous power. The world order and all 5 elements are subject to it: water, earth, air, fire, and ether. To those who respect her, Kali gives knowledge and liberation, therefore in India and other regions where Hinduism and its various branches are professed, this goddess is reverently honored.
