This hand-carved Odin statue is cut from solid ash wood and finished with a protective varnish — a commanding centrepiece for any Norse pagan altar, Asatru sacred space, or Viking collector’s shelf. At 7.4 inches tall and 9.2 inches wide, it’s one of the broader pieces in the collection, giving Odin the presence he commands. Every line of the carving reflects the Allfather’s dual nature: warrior and sage, ruler and wanderer.

Odin (Old Norse Óðinn) is the supreme deity of the Norse pantheon — Allfather, lord of Asgard, master of runes, and ruler of the Valkyries. He sacrificed his eye at Mímir’s well to gain cosmic wisdom, and hung nine days on Yggdrasil to receive the runes. He is simultaneously the god of war, poetry, death, and knowledge — a deity of paradoxes who embodies the relentless pursuit of wisdom at any cost. Vikings, warriors, and seafarers called on Odin before battle, knowing he granted not just strength but strategic cunning and the favour of fate. His ravens Huginn and Muninn (“Thought” and “Memory”) circle the world daily and return to whisper its secrets in his ear. As a Yule deity, Odin leads the Wild Hunt through the winter sky — making this statue a powerful addition to a Yule altar.
