Frequently Asked Questions
How do you ensure the historical authenticity of your Celtic statues?
Every sculpture is the result of deep historical research. We study ancient stone carvings, artifacts like the Gundestrup Cauldron, and medieval Irish manuscripts to ensure the iconography and attributes of each deity — from the Morrigan to Epona, Cerridwen to Taranis — accurately reflect ancient Celtic traditions. Each figure is then hand-carved by our family of artisans in Ukraine.
Why is natural wood the traditional choice for Celtic deity sculptures?
In ancient Celtic and druidic tradition, trees were considered sacred — a belief preserved in the Ogham alphabet. Carving these figures from sustainable ecological ash wood honours that ancient connection to nature, offering a living grain and warmth that resin or plastic replicas cannot match. Each piece is finished with lacquer to preserve the wood's natural beauty.
Can Celtic statues be used on a home altar or for Wheel of the Year celebrations?
Yes — our Celtic statues are widely used on personal shrines, pagan altars, and for seasonal Wheel of the Year rituals. Many collectors rotate statues to match each festival: the Morrigan for Samhain, Epona or Artio for Imbolc and Ostara, and Cerridwen or Dagda for Lughnasadh and Mabon. All pieces are finished with lacquer and recommended for indoor use only.
