Naamah is one of the most enigmatic figures in demonology — a name that appears across Jewish scripture, Kabbalistic texts, and occult tradition, each time carrying a different weight. This hand-carved ash wood statue captures her in the form she takes in the occult tradition: the succubus, the seductress, the demoness who moves through the night with complete autonomy. Each piece is individually carved and finished with varnish by skilled artisans in Ukraine. Available in colored and brown finishes. Naamah — Demoness, Muse, Night-Walker

In the oldest layers of Jewish tradition, Naamah is the daughter of Lamech and Zillah — a mortal woman associated with music, beauty, and the arts. But in Kabbalistic and demonological literature she becomes something far more complex: one of the four queens of the demons alongside Lilith, Agrat bat Mahlat, and Eisheth Zenunim. In this tradition she is a succubus who visits men in the night, a figure of dangerous beauty and uncontrollable desire.

What makes Naamah interesting is the tension between these two identities — the gifted mortal woman and the demoness of the night — and the question of whether they were ever truly separate. She belongs to the same lineage as Lilith: figures who were demonised precisely because they refused to be contained, and who have been reclaimed by modern practitioners as symbols of feminine power, autonomy, and the shadow self.
