Moon Cat Wooden Statue | Hand-Carved Ash Wood | Luna Cat Totem Figurine

The Moon Cat statue is hand-carved from solid ash wood and measures 8.0 in / 20.5 cm tall, 7.3 in / 18.6 cm wide, and 1.7 in / 4.5 cm deep. It is available in three finishes: brown (natural varnish), blue (painted and varnished), and multicolor. Each piece is shaped by hand in our workshop in Ukraine, so minor variations in grain and tone are part of its handmade character.

The cat is one of the most powerful spirit animals in pagan and mystical traditions. In ancient Egypt, cats were sacred to Bastet — goddess of protection, the hearth, and feminine power. In Norse mythology, the goddess Freya rode a chariot pulled by two great cats, linking them to magic, independence, and lunar energy. The crescent moon amplifies this symbolism: a cat on the moon represents intuition, mystery, the ability to perceive what others cannot, and the quiet power of moving between worlds unseen. As a totem, the moon cat calls in protection, independence, and heightened spiritual awareness.

A Moon Cat statue is a versatile and powerful altar piece for Wiccan, pagan, or cat-honouring spiritual practice. Place it on your altar during Esbat (full or new moon) rituals to invoke feline lunar energy, or use it as a permanent guardian figure on a dedicated cat or Bastet altar. It pairs beautifully with moonstone, silver candles, and offerings of milk or herbs. It also makes a meaningful gift for cat lovers, witches, and anyone drawn to the magic of the night sky.
