This hand-carved Isis statue captures the Queen of the Gods in her most iconic form — wings spread wide, arms outstretched in the gesture of divine protection that has defined her image for three thousand years. The figure is carved from solid ash wood with exceptional detail: feathered wings layered in relief, the solar disc and horns of her crown, the flowing robes of a goddess who commands both magic and motherhood. Available in brown with gold, black brown, and brown finishes, each piece is individually carved in Ukraine and finished with varnish to bring out the warmth of the wood grain.
Isis — known in ancient Egyptian as Iset, meaning “the throne” — was the most widely worshipped goddess in the ancient world. Daughter of Nut and Geb, wife of Osiris, and mother of Horus, she stood at the centre of the most powerful myth in Egyptian religion: after Set murdered and dismembered Osiris, Isis gathered the scattered pieces of his body, reassembled him, and through her magic conceived their son Horus — who would grow to avenge his father and restore divine order. She was the patroness of magic, healing, fertility, and protection, and her cult eventually spread far beyond Egypt into Greece and Rome. She is the defining figure of the Egyptian statue collection — a goddess whose power over life, death, and resurrection made her, at the height of her worship, the closest thing the ancient world had to a universal deity.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size is the Isis statue and what material is it made from?
The Isis statue is hand-carved from solid ash wood and finished with varnish. It stands 8.1 in / 20.8 cm tall, 6.7 in / 17.2 cm wide (wings included), and 1.6 in / 4.4 cm deep. Who is Isis in Egyptian mythology and what powers does she represent?
Isis — known in ancient Egyptian as Iset, meaning "the throne" — is the Queen of the Gods and the most widely worshipped deity in ancient Egypt. She is the goddess of magic, healing, fertility, and protection. Her most famous myth tells how she gathered the dismembered body of her husband Osiris, reassembled him through her magic, and conceived their son Horus — who would grow to restore divine order. Her cult eventually spread from Egypt throughout the Greek and Roman world, making her one of the most enduring goddesses in human history.
How can the Isis statue be used on an altar or in ritual practice?
The Isis statue works beautifully as a centrepiece for an Egyptian deity altar, a goddess altar, or any sacred space focused on magic, healing, fertility, or protection. Her outstretched wings make her a natural symbol of divine shelter — place her facing outward to invoke her protective aspect, or pair her with offerings of flowers, incense, or a candle to honour her role as goddess of magic and motherhood.
