• Yule (Dec 21–23) — Winter Solstice; the longest night, the return of the light
• Imbolc (Feb 1–2) — First stirrings of spring; the awakening of nature
• Ostara (Mar 21–23) — Spring Equinox; balance of day and night, new beginnings
• Beltane (May 1–2) — Festival of fertility and growth; the beginning of summer
• Litha (Jun 21–23) — Summer Solstice; the longest day, the peak of the sun's power
• Lammas / Lughnasadh (Aug 1–2) — First harvest; gratitude for abundance
• Mabon (Sep 21–23) — Autumn Equinox; the second harvest, balance restored
• Samhain (Oct 31–Nov 1) — End of the cycle; the thinning of the veil, the pagan new year
