Beowa or Bedwig is a figure in Anglo-Saxon paganism associated with barley and agriculture. This figure is attested in the Anglo-Saxon royal genealogies, as they were expanded in the era of Alfred, where Beowa is listed as the son of Skild and the grandson of Skaifa, inherited from Adam. Links have been proposed between the figure of Beowa and the hero Beowulf of the poem of the same name and the figure of the English folk song John Barleycorn.

Beow is an Old English word for barley. In Anglo-Saxon genealogies, Beowa is the son or grandson of Skaifa, the Old English word for sheaf. The noun beow has an Old Norse parallel in Bygg, which means grain. Comparisons have been made between the figure of Beow and Biggweer, attested in the Prose Edda as a servant of the god Freyr.

Some scholars have suggested a connection between the mythical figure of Beowa and the legendary Beowulf. Since the two characters share many of the same attributes, it has been suggested that "the god Beow, whose existence in myth is undeniable, was confused or mingled with Beowulf."
