In Norse mythology, Odin sent his two ravens — Huginn (Thought) and Muninn (Memory) — across the nine realms each day to gather knowledge and return it to him. Among the Vikings, the raven was a symbol of struggle and victory, carried on their battle standards into war. In Irish legend, the term “knowledge of the raven” means the ability to see and know everything that happens. This hand-crafted Norse Raven statue is a centrepiece of our Norse statues collection, carved in Ukraine from ecological ash wood and finished with warm varnish — a large, wide-winged piece that commands any space it inhabits.
