She is the death on the battlefield in Irish mythology. According to one version, she also symbolized the moon. Her name translates as "The Great Queen" or "Queen of the Ghosts," which is fully consistent with her nature. She takes part in the battle mainly through the use of witchcraft, druidic magic, the change of guises, intimidation of the enemy, and giving support, and strategic information to her people who worship her.

Besides, she is credited with the gift of prophecy and the ability to utter all kinds of spells. She is a deity patronizing strong independent people, and especially those who stand in the way of the Warrior.

The statue is made according to the sketch Eilonwy le Fay Evernight is a traditional faerie folkloric witch, ordained High Priestess, death walker, occultist, illustrator, sculptor, and herbalist. She has a deep knowledge of world folklore, world mythologies, world religions, and many styles of witchcraft.

You can follow her on Twitter @EilonwyEvernig1, on Instagram at @eilonwyevernight, and at her personal witchcraft shop soon to reopen BeyondShadows on Etsy.
