The triple goddess is not three separate figures — she is one goddess in three aspects, moving through the cycle that everything alive moves through: beginning, fullness, and completion. These hand-carved ash wood statues represent the Maiden and the Crone — the summer and winter faces of the triple goddess — individually or as a pair. Each piece is carved and finished with varnish by skilled artisans in Ukraine; no two are identical.
Available in three options: both statues together, the summer statue (Maiden) alone, or the winter statue (Crone) alone.
The Triple Goddess — Maiden, Mother, Crone
The triple goddess is one of the most enduring archetypes in the Western pagan and Wiccan tradition — the recognition that the feminine principle, like the moon, moves in three phases. The Maiden is the waxing moon: new beginnings, potential, the energy of spring and dawn. The Mother is the full moon: abundance, creation, the power of summer at its height. The Crone is the waning moon: wisdom, endings, the deep knowledge that comes from having lived through the full cycle.
In Wiccan practice, the triple goddess is often identified with Hecate in her three aspects — and if you want to understand how she is honoured on the altar across different traditions, the guide to triple goddess altar sculptures covers this in depth. She is the goddess who contains all of time within herself, and who reminds us that every ending is also a beginning.

Ideal For
Wiccan and pagan practitioners who work with the triple goddess in devotional or seasonal practice. Altars dedicated to the lunar cycle, the wheel of the year, and the feminine principle in its full expression. The pair makes a particularly powerful Samhain altar piece, when the Crone aspect is at her most present and the veil between worlds is thin. A meaningful gift for those marking a life transition and seeking a symbol of the full cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size are the Maiden Mother Crone statues and what material are they made from?
Both statues together measure 10.3 in / 26.2 cm wide, 8.1 in / 20.5 cm tall, and 1.7 in / 4.3 cm deep. Each statue is hand-carved from ecological ash wood with a varnish finish, individually crafted by hand in Ukraine. Available as a pair or individually — the summer (Maiden) or winter (Crone) statue sold separately.
How do I use the Maiden Mother Crone statues on my altar?
Place the pair together as the centrepiece of a lunar or seasonal altar. The summer statue (Maiden) faces the waxing moon and the growing half of the year; the winter statue (Crone) faces the waning moon and the dark half. Use them together to honour the full cycle — particularly powerful at the solstices, at Samhain (when the Crone is at her strongest), and at Imbolc (when the Maiden returns). Pair with candles in white, silver, and black to represent the three lunar phases.
What is the Maiden Mother Crone and what does the triple goddess represent?
The Maiden, Mother, and Crone are the three aspects of the triple goddess — one of the central archetypes in Wiccan and pagan tradition. The Maiden represents new beginnings, potential, and the waxing moon. The Mother represents abundance, creation, and the full moon. The Crone represents wisdom, completion, and the waning moon. Together they embody the full cycle of life, the phases of the moon, and the turning of the seasonal wheel. In many traditions the triple goddess is identified with Hecate, who holds all three aspects simultaneously.
